SBSI to provide IT Services to Trade Tech High School in Vista, CA
San Diego, California (August 14, 2008) Shaw Binary Systems, Inc. (SBSI) today announced that it was awarded an IT Services contract to help facilitate and support the network infrastructure for Trade Tech High School in Vista, CA.
Trade Tech High School, with a planned first day of school on September 4th will require an aggressive schedule to meet all IT requirements the first day of school.  During the implementation and deployment phase SBSI will provide voice and data cabling, infrastructure design and implementation, Server systems build and deployment, in addition to workstation builds and deployment for both students and teachers.

Trade Tech High School will harness the latest in infrastructure technology.   The core systems, containing both student and teacher software applications will be built on a high availability set of redundant IBM servers using an enterprise class Hitachi SAN for centralized storage all managed by VMWare Infrastructure software.

The Trade Tech High School VMWare Infrastructure project is one of a handful of similar projects scheduled for SBSI in the coming months as many organizations are looking for smarter solutions that take advantage of the economic and green benefits of running virtual servers.

Trade Tech High School is an innovative public charter school.
