Employees of Shaw Binary Systems, Inc. (SBSI) came together this November to donate two Thanksgiving meals to a local non-profit organization, San Diego Youth & Community Services.
This is the second year that SBSI has donated dinners to the San Diego Youth & Community Services. Each dinner package included: a 20 pound turkey, oven baking bags, oven baking trays, canned vegetables, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes, stuffing, canned gravy and cake mix. The meals were distributed by San Diego Youth & Community Services to families in their programs.
The organization helps children and families in the San Diego area. Their programs include: prevention and education, mentoring and counseling, youth shelters and teen transitional living.
Shaw Binary came in contract with San Diego Youth & Community Services last year through Volunteer San Diego, where the organization was requesting turkey dinners for their Thanksgiving meal program.
