Logan Heights Branch Library

SBSI Spends Some Quality Time at the Library

The employees of Shaw Binary Systems, Inc. (SBSI) came together on a Saturday in early November to once again volunteer at the Logan Heights Branch Library. SBSI’s relationship with the library began in early September when SBSI employees took part in San Diego’s annual volunteer project, Hands on San Diego. Through Hands on San Diego, SBSI was introduced to the library and their need for a security system. SBSI employees did their part in helping the community by placing magnetic strips in library books for the new security system that will be implemented in 2006 when the branch relocates to its new building. SBSI enjoyed working with the library and looks forward to helping them again soon.

In addition to the library, SBSI has asked its employees to help those less fortunate this holiday season. We will be participating in a Thanksgiving drive, donating at least two dinners complete with all the fixings. SBSI will also be donating non-perishable food to the San Diego Food Bank, our goal is 200 pounds of food, and donating blankets to Alpha Project, our goal is 12 blankets. Everyone here at SBSI wishes the best for everyone during the holidays.
