Adopt a Block
By: Lacey Shaw SBSI Participates in the 10th Annual Adopt-A-Block Keeping with a philosophy of giving back to the community, the employees of Shaw Binary Systems, Inc. (SBSI) are once again lending a hand, this time at Second Chance’s 10th Annual Adopt-A-Block on May 15th, 2004. Second Chance is organizing volunteers to take part in a community clean-up event to help beautify areas of Sherman Heights and Downtown San Diego. The employees of SBSI will aid in painting houses, pulling weeds, planting flowers, picking up trash and painting murals. To find out more about the event call Catrina da Luz at (619) 234-8888.
