Shaw Binary Systems Unveils a Virtual Network Solution

Shaw Binary Systems, Inc. (SBSI) a Microsoft Gold Partner, announced in early January the unveiling of Virtual Office Server (VOS), a Server appliance that provides a virtual network solution and allows decentralized small business employees to work anywhere, anytime, safely and securely.

The Virtual Office in a box is a server appliance based on Microsoft’s Small Business Server. The appliance is hosted either in the clients’ office or at SBSI’s enterprise datacenter (Level3). The appliance gives a big business server environment to small businesses operating in a distributed fashion with employees working from various locations. The typical client will operate a business either out of a house, or a small business suite, with employees working from many other locations. The appliance gives this distributed workforce the same benefits of file sharing, corporate email / groupware, along with enterprise security. SBSI can offer any number of appliance configurations both hardware and software wise, to best meet the client’s need.

SBSI launches the Virtual Office Server (VOS) with great fanfare. “We see our Virtual Office Server (VOS) as an appliance with great potential for the SMB space. It is in response to a direct market demand,” said Christopher Shaw, CEO and President of Shaw Binary Systems, Inc. (SBSI)

SBSI has been an integral part of the San Diego business community since 1999, continually creating solutions for local businesses’ technological challenges, both federal and commercial. As a company, their goal is to continually research better ways to conduct business and provide value-added services for their clients. SBSI is committed to developing practical and cost effective ways for businesses to leverage technology and enhance their own efficiencies.
